"TPE glue" is not glue. This is a very strong solvent that can make tears ten times worse if used on deep or stressed TPE tears. Use other methods. It is difficult to find the use of TPE glue, and hot or cold welding cannot do it better. I would add that because I have some experience with cold welding recently. Although it is much better than TPE glue (and I recommend it), it does have some characteristics in common with glue and may cause similar problems.
The cut I made in one area using cold welding became a bit poor. To be sure, it was my own fault.
